1. I am able to import it into the NPSP Data Imports and when I go on the NPSP Data Imports page to preview the records "Successfully Imported" and view an individual record, I see my ID field with the correct number, but if I go to the Contact's Page their ID field is blank.

2. This ID field is very important to me and I want to be able to update these records in the future according to this ID number. When I created the field, there was a chechbox if I want this field to be an "identifying field for the record" (or something like that). I checked it. Will I be able to use this in the future to update records (instead of the Salesforce ID)?
