How to I set dynamic content to show nothing if recipient meets criteria?

I want to set up a dynamic content block to show to receipients from a particular area, and if they are not from that area to show nothing i.e. default content would be blank, is this possible in Marketing Cloud?

 

i.e. If City is equal to London - show content, but it it's not, show nothing/no content block.

    So there are two ways you can do this:

     

    1) Use the dynamic content builder tool in SFMC - but the trick is to create a content item which is empty (we just created one and saved it). The dynamic content builder tool will then ask you to set a default so you set it to this empty module. Therefore if the city is not london - it will show the default content item - which is empty.

     

    2) Use AMP script and pull in the content module directi: i.e

     

    %%[IF @CITY == "LONDON" Then]%%

     

    %%=ContentArea("14")=%%

     

    %%[ELSE]%% 

     

    DO NOTHING

     

    %%[EndIf]%%
