Hello Trailhead Community, I'm encountering an issue while trying to upgrade a package in Salesforce and would appreciate any assistance or guidance.

We have version 1.19 installed and need to upgrade - can we go right to 2.12?

Hello,

We received the upgrade to 228 over the weekend. I thought this release was supposed to be the final change to grandfather us to Permission Set Licenses from Managed Package Licenses. However I do see that existing users still have the Managed Package Licenses assigned, and they are still available in our org.

We also received a message that the post install scripts failed following the upgrade. I have rerun the scripts, but that didn't seem to change anything with the licenses. Am I seeing this correctly, and what exactly is the action going forward with the Managed Package Licenses? My assumption was that after this release we wouldn't see them at all anymore (and our users should just have the Permission Set and the PSL) but that doesn't seem to be the case. This doesn't seem to line up with the documentation on this upgrade?

Thanks!

Thanks @Amanda Watson! Funny enough, I just checked again and am seeing the same, the option is no longer there. Though it was about an hour and a half ago. I guess I have my answer now :)

Hi,

I am looking forward to upgrade my Pardot org to HML, but the upgrade banner for HML is not showing anywhere on the Dashboard.

Not able to find out why the upgrade banner is not showing.

Please advice.

Thank you all.

Its is Standard edition, well the upgrade option for old email template to HML is available.

But when creating a new email template the Merge field does not work in the content editor.

Hi Guys,

At the moment we have classic managed FSL app installed but would like to upgrade to lightning app. Does anyone know where/how can I upgrade it to lightning?

We haven't upgraded to Lightning. Currently we have a specialized Equi-Force layout. With the upgrade will we lose that?

Officially completed ICRW's NPSP 3 upgrade today!!! Just under the wire for #Upgrade Month! Very special thanks to @Melissa Barber for her support through the whole (year+ long) process

This is a common issue we've seen with upgrades, where the historical donations don't have a primary contact role assigned to the donor, which means that when you upgrade to NPSP3 the converter won't know who to set as the donor and will leave the donation connected to the old account, that's not good. But it's solvable. @Anne Crawford walks you through it on this excellent blog post: http://kellpartners.com/kell-labs/177-upgrading-to-the-npsp-3-bad-ugly. #Upgrade Month #NPSP3 Upgrade

In honor of #Upgrade Month and seeing the fantastic memes put out there by you Pubbers - @Beth Breisnes !,

I wanted to steal a page from the twitter phenom #Upgradechallenge and show you how I, lovable, wonderful Justin got upgraded from my use of Salesforce.

http://www.someecards.com/life/digital-life/upgrade-challenge-memes/)

Thought I would show you guys what life was like when I was working Salesforce NPSP2 circa 2010.  All Alone.  By myself.  With no other help.  In a small, crowded office.  My happy place was putting on hip hop, a hoodie, and trying to make sense of objects, metadata, work flow rules, and Field level security.  The picture in the top left corner was a video one of my coworkers took of me while I was trying to figure it out.  It was TOUGH!  Much more thankful to be doing it with you guys and on a Team of awesome people!  (hence, the #Upgrade meme)

I think it took me a solid 5 months to understand the One-to-One Account Model and the VF page / _SystemOnetoOne: Contact Lookup field that redirected you from the One-to-One Account page to the Contact page.  It was great once I understood it, but horrible the first five months I was using it and trying to decide on the correct data model for our donor development data.

Thank the Lord for #NPSP3 Upgrade !  Much happier and easier now.

Justin out.  Have an awesome Friday y'all!  Can't wait to see you next week!
