I want to know the standard process for the applicant to get registered in to student success? 

I am new to Salesforce and really want to get hands on experience in a dev org that I would be familiar with.

For example, I have worked in a schools district office for over 13 years and have lots of ideas for what I could do in a demo org.

Doing a demo org in Education Cloud though would limit me to just 30 days and I don’t think that is worth it.

I’ve never done this before so please forgive my naïveté. Is there a way to export enough from one demo org that I could somewhat keep working on it in a new org?

Or would I be better off just using a standard dev org and doing what I can with it. My goal is hands-on experience at this point.

Hello- Current teacher, former Salesforce admin (not certified), data nerd, and pursuer of certification here.

Is anyone using Education Cloud for public K-12? After years of juggling multiple student information systems -all of which do their tasks not very well, don't talk to each other, and do not handle data in a way that can facilitate valuable insights I suddenly wondered, why isn't this all in Salesforce?!

If you are working in this space I would love to know more!

Hello everyone,

We are trying to load data to the personEducation object, which has a field lookup to account.

Now, once the accounts (person accounts ) are loaded, trying to load their respective person education records.

Tried using the workbench, Dataloader.Io, we don't see the accountId field to map, Checked for access also, the field has got edit,read and all required access.

Am I missing anything?

We are a team working in the education sector, specifically in continuing education, where we manage a series of high-volume commercial and financial processes related to enrollments and admissions. The types of programs we offer include those that require an admission process and those that don’t, catering to both individuals and companies enrolling their employees (B2C and B2B models).

Our inquiry is focused on finding out if there are any successful implementations of Salesforce Education Cloud connected to E-commerce platforms. Given the high volume of our offerings and enrollments, our business model leans towards using such platforms. We are particularly interested in knowing if there are any use cases where platforms like Shopify have been integrated.

Additionally, it would be extremely helpful to learn about the challenges or risks that were encountered during the implementation of this infrastructure.

We are considering modeling the entire architecture based on a middleware solution that connects Shopify, Salesforce, and other systems.

Any insights, experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Point of Contact (emails, phone, addresses) looks great, but not seeing any functionality or automation / validation whatsoever.

Is there anything preventing an individual to have multiple "primary" emails that are all ranked 1 in preference, for example? If not, anyone know WHY not?

Is there anything driving any of the points of contact (email, addresses, phone) to the contact record? If not, how are y'all doing that now?

It feels like there's a big gap there that users have to solve by creating their own validation rules and/or flows to prevent duplicate primaries and/or ranking and to push values to the contact record for the primary email / phone / address to display. Am I missing something?

Can a single Salesforce Education Cloud organization effectively support multiple university institutions?

I'm interested in understanding how Salesforce Education Cloud handles data modeling and operational requirements for multiple universities within a single instance. Specifically, I'm curious about:

• Data model flexibility: Can the data model accommodate different structures and requirements for each university?
• Operational independence: Will each university be able to manage its own operations, including admissions, enrollment, and student support, within the same platform?
• Data privacy and security: How does Salesforce Education Cloud ensure that data remains private and secure across multiple institutions?
