Does your organization use Salesforce to manage food drive data? If so, how?

I'd love to learn more about how others may be using Campaigns or custom object(s) or other solutions, and if you're able to store everything from contact details to pounds of food in Salesforce in a meaningful and effective way.

@WIT Group, Phoenix, US  Used our "problem solving skills" for our food drive.

We're all busy with the Holiday Season and we have far too much "to-do" on our To-Do Lists.. 

So.. we planned a virtual meeting for this month.  

BUT we still want to have a food drive too.  So.. we planned a virtual food drive. 

We are supporting St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank

We used social media to promote the event (Facebook & Twitter) A big "Thank You" to @Jessica Murphy  for her social media skills!

We were able to collect enough donations to ship 7 cases of food = 80 pounds (net weight.. just the food, not the cans).

We used Amazon Prime to ship the order.  It will arrive on Thursday Dec. 17th

I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful #Community  

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

For those of you who have had your food drives already, PLEASE add the food weights to the sign up sheet ASAP. The reason for the ask is that it helps me see how close we are to our goal, and if we're close, maybe we can get a few more groups involved, before the drive finishes.
