I have added the products to price books and made the price books active (both standard and custom) but still, it shows pricing is unavailable. I am logging in as admin. What could be the issue?

Thank you. I found the issue already. It worked when I logged in as other user. Why will it not work for the admin?

We're slowly but surely moving forward with our B2B LEX implementation, and are at the stage where we're validating our pattern for segregating product by buyer group so that buyers can search only through the common inventory and the specific reserved items from which they are allowed to purchase.  In order to achieve this, we've created an Entitlement Policy for the common items, and then one for each of the Buyer Groups individually. The Buyer Groups then get both the common EP and their own, and the union of the two policies should be the pool of Products from which they can search and purchase.  What we discovered was that the checkbox on Search labelled "Skip additional entitlement check for search" appears to have fundamental control over whether this scenario works.  Unfortunately, the only immediately evident documentation on such is here:  https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.b2b_comm_lex_search_skip_entitlement_check.htm&type=5  Does anyone have access to resources that describe the relationship between Entitlement Policies and Search results? #Trailhead Challenges

Hi All,

Anyone know why Orders do not support setting the CreatedDate, CreatedBy when inserting via Data Loader (v52)? The "Create Audit Fields" Permission Set is configured/assigned and this is not a problem for other SF Objects. Thanks in advance.

#B2B Lightning #Orders  The related record(s) Order Lookup displays the Order Number. This creates confusion since the Order Number has no relevance to our external system(s).

Hi Suraj, thanks for the detailed response.

Unfortunately there are other areas where we have no options to include the Order Name (such as child External Objects and Detail Pages).

This won't be a viable solution.

I have set up a store and integrated a checkout flow. But there doesn't seem to be a standard quantity field on the product or any available inventory object to calculate the product quantity. Am I missing something? Or does Salesforce not really provide that option yet?

I want to be able to have a quantity field on my products/warehouse, etc., so that if there are only 5 units of that product available in my inventory, then the customer cannot order for more than 5 units of that product.

Is there a standard feature available for this? Or do I have to customize this process?

Thanks #Trailhead Challenges

@Kimberly Dsouza there is no OOB feature for the scenario yet.

We implemented a custom process to maintain the fulfillments of the order using the product inventory object. and did a rollup on CC product based on the qty solved or delivered. This way we got the total inhand qty and then we wrote a custom code on cart to validate the qty against the threshold of the product.

I know this very high level, it might need some customization as well. Try it, if need ask me for a help.

Originally, the Entitlement Policy limit was documented at 500. We were told in discussions with SFDC SMEs that this limit would be increased in a subsequent release, but cannot find any indication of the new value.   #B2B Lightning

And, to answer my own question with help from Support:  "As it stands, the limit for Summer '21 / Winter '22 orgs is set to 315,000 - quite a change, however, keep in mind that up to 20,000 entitlement policies can be associated per buyer group.

"There is a limit on the number of buyer groups that can be created - as of now, that is 100,000."

Hi, I am implementing B2B Commerce LE for my org and am trying to understand how entitlement policies work in relation to how customers can view pricing.  I find the general documentation on this a big vague.

In my company basically all pricing for all products are negotiated per account. This creates a lot of individual price books and now buyer groups. Most customers only buy a few products from us so they only have pricing on, let's say, 5 out of 60 total products. Is it possible to create a policy that lets users see all products in our catalog but only lets them see the prices on products that are in their price book?

Thanks,

Paul

@Paul Hanan some of my architects might have a more complete answer for you but generally speaking while it is possible to give every customer their own pricebook, it can turn into a maintenance nightmare if you have a large customer base. For larger customer bases it it more maintainable to make a business decision on how to group customers into a limited number of pricebooks.

That aside,  I think if you set up an entitlement policy and there's no pricebook entry for a particular product (eg user has entitlement but not a price), you can see the product but can't add it to the cart.

If you need more help let me know and I can get you in touch with one of our architects for some advice.

Hi Everyone,

We are having client requirement in B2B lightning , If product inventory is zero it should be appear as 'Out of Stock' message or notification beside that product . User should not be able to add that product to cart. As this is not available with lightning one.

How can I achieve this.

Thanks @Piyush Singhal for your reply but the link you have provided is linked to the CloudCraze one (I have already this old certification) but I would like some tips about the new B2B accreditation linked to Lightning Experience and which is on Examity.

    Any help?
