[Image Uploader] "You do not have delete permission to the related record" error for non-admin users

I am seeking help regarding a permission issue with the AppExchange package "Image Uploader."
[The Issue]
When a non-admin user clicks the delete button in this tool, the following error occurs, preventing the deletion (unlinking) of the file: "You do not have delete permission to the related record."
[What we have verified]
- System Administrator: Can delete without issues.
- Standard Profile Users: Cannot delete via the tool, even if they have "Delete" permission on the Opportunity object and are the record owner (or higher in the role hierarchy).
- Testing: The deletion only succeeds when we grant the "Modify All Data" system permission to the user.
[Request for help]
For security reasons, we want to avoid granting "Modify All Data" to standard users. Is there any way to bypass this error and allow non-admins to use the delete function without admin privileges?
If anyone knows of specific Apex class access requirements, hidden package settings, or a specific Permission Set that resolves this, please let us know.
Probably the issue is because the button deletes files, which are special records. Until recently only admins or users with 'Modify All Data' permission could delete files, however, Salesforce introduced a new feature in the profile settings that allows you to grant non-admin users permission to delete files.
