How do we report if a value is empty or not?
If it's not empty the values that are filled in are loyalty card numbers so not possible group them.
On chart settings I can group small groups into others but it exceeds the max group displayed of 100.
Any idea on how to solve?

Can you post a screenshot of the Report, showing the Report Type, the Settings, and Filters that you're currently using, the results you're currently getting, and a mock-up of what you want?
For questions related to Reports and Dashboards those are really helpful
You might wanna try creating a Row-Level Report Formula, or Formula Filed on the object and then use that as your Report Grouping/Filter
