Is there a way to set field usage on a custom field while creating it? I know how to go back and edit it once I've saved the field but I don't see a way to set it while making the field.

Bradley Weller (Fast Slow Motion)I don't believe you can set any of the Data Classification values on creation. I'm not sure why, but it appears each of those settings, including Field Usage must be set after creation.
I ran a few tests on my own and reviewed this article which doesn't make any mention of the Data Classification values when creating custom fields.
