Error running command sfdx.force.source.retrieve.component: this.node.children is not iterable. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes sfdx.force.source.retrieve.component.

I am getting this error when I try to retrieve metadata.

 

Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue.

    Hello SFDX commands are depreciated, i suggest you should update the Salesforce Cli or if not updated in long time uninstall old version & install the new one.
