Which Salesforce account type is better for creating the app?

Question

Hi,

I want to create an Salesforce app so that I can ask the user to perform OAuth for their salesforce account and I can pull the data for the analysis. Salesforce has multiple account type like following:

developer edition
Professional edition
Enterprise edition

Which of the above is best for creating the Salesforce app? Will there be any difference?
