I was also getting the same error, even with everything I was doing correctly.
Do these things to complete the challenge.
1-Create a new playground.
2-I recommend creating LWC components in VS Code rather than using the Chrome extension. The reason is, that when I used the Chrome extension, the API version in the parent metafile was 57.0. However, when I created the component in VS Code, the API version was 58.0, which matches the version provided in the badge code.
By doing these two things, I was able to complete the challenge.
