I am currently using a trial account for the Financial Services Cloud. I'm looking to integrate Google Drive but under Permission Sets, the File Connect Permission tickbox doesn't exist. Can I not use this function on the trial?

If you don't get a definitive answer here you could try posting on the FSC Group on the Salesforce Community ?
Alternatively you could reach out to your Salesforce AE or speak to the Sales Team via Chat on the Salesforce Product pages.
