List View REST API question

We are building an integration with Salesforce that allows users to import Contacts and Leads. We would like to allow users to select the leverage Contact and Lead List Views to segment the records they import. It appears there is no REST API for list views. We have looked at Metadata API as one option and are still researching this.

 

Programitcally using List Views seems like a common scenario anyone have suggestions or experieince getting access to List Views?

    You'll find a lot of great API documentation, sample code, and active forums there.
