i created the approval process and activated that one.i fiiled record details and while saving that record it gives the error: Unable to Process Approval Request This approval request requires the next approver to be determined by the Manager field.

in the user object i filled the manager look up field with user when i saving the record it gives the error:You cannot set a hierarchy field to point to itself or a child record
