Hoping someone can help me with the coding of this...

I want to add a specified text inline of a sentence based upon the data in a field.

Field to reference = MemberType

If type "member1" = $10

If type "member2" = $15

So if MemberType = 'member1' it displays $10, if MemberType = 'member2' it displays $15 and if neither it is blank.

How would I code that in ampscript? Also, can that same ampscript be used in an sms message?
