Hello, a few months ago there was an alert that stated Reports and Dashboards will no longer be available in Classic after March 31, 2027. Is that still the plan that reports and dashboards will cease to function (view/manage) in Classic as of April 1, 2027? Furthermore, is there a potential date to retire Classic altogether? Thank you so much!

    Hey Alyssa,

I checked Salesforce's official Active Product & Feature Retirements page directly (last updated July 28, 2026), and Classic Reports and Dashboards does not appear on it at all. What IS listed with confirmed dates includes things like Lightning Sync (April 1, 2027) and SOAP API login() (Summer '27), but no Classic Reports/Dashboards retirement entry exists on this official page as of today.

This suggests one of two things: either that original alert was pulled/never became an official retirement, or it hasn't been added to this tracking page yet for some reason. Since Salesforce states this page only lists retirements "reviewed by legal and determined to have a customer impact," and Classic Reports isn't there, I can't confirm a firm April 2027 cutover date exists right now.

Given the original alert clearly caused real concern, I'd recommend opening a direct case with Salesforce Support asking them to confirm current status against this specific page, that's the authoritative source and it doesn't currently list this retirement.
