Is Mailchimp the best option for email marketing for a small charity? (the charity already uses Mailchimp with no integration to Salesforce)
- Suggested Campaign Monitor as an alternative, if they were looking at other options
- Discussed the Beaufort12 integrations for both Campaign Monitor and MailChimp
- As a follow up discussed the ability to sync multiple email addresses for the same contact using the Beaufort12 integration - here is the document for MailChimp and Campaign Monitor
Should I be running an autolaunched flow as 'System', I am receiving an alert
- It would not usually be recommended to run 'as system' as you could be bypassing certain permissions - so Salesforce is warning you of this - however if this is for an integration (which this was) then the integration user should not be given additional permissions that it does not need and running the flow as 'system' is the preferred approach.
- As a follow up discussed the Integration Users API Only Access and shared the Salesforce Help and Free Like a Puppy Blog article
Challenges with a Scheduled Flow not running:
- Suggested double checking the schedule
- Have the flow update a record and/or send an email to be sure it runs
- Setting the debug logs for workflow to 'finest' and the other logs 'off' over the timeframe it runs and see what is happening
- Try out the Flow Email Logger on the appexchange
- Open a case with Salesforce
