I want to use VS Code with Salesforce CLI and tried to connect a trailhead playground with it. But I always get the error message :

Error authenticating with auth code due to: request to https://empathetic-koala-nj5lux-dev-ed.my.salesforce.com//services/oauth2/token failed, reason: connect ETIMEDOUT 160.8.246.134:443

This is most likely not an error with the Salesforce CLI. Please ensure all information is accurate and try again.

I tried it multiple times and followed exactly the instructions in the Trailhead module "Use Visual Studio Code for Salesforce Development" https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/quickstart-vscode-salesforce/use-vscode-for-salesforce?trail_id=set-up-your-workspace-and-install-developer-tools&trailmix_creator_id=handrade&trailmix_slug=devops-sfw

Has anybody any idea how to resolve it? My trailhead playground does exist for a longer time. Should I probably use a new one?
