I'm new to Conga Composer and trying to create an Excel template that is close to a quote with details from the master object and subqueries for related lists.
In the list of linked records, I need to transform a checkbox field to "X" if it's true and (empty) if false.
It seems I cannot do that directly in a formula (AFAIK Conga does not interpret merge fields in formulas), so I included the merge field in a cell on the same line and created a dynamic repeating formula where I need the "formatted" info:
&=&=si(J{r},"X","") ("si" = "IF", my merge field data is in the J column, same line)
When I process the template with Conga, the Excel file shows an error in all cells: "#Nom?" (#Name? in english).
Looking at the generated formula, I get:
=@si(J55,"X","")
If I delete the @, the formula works fine.
Any idea why composer adds the arobase sign?
I'd rather avoid creating formula fields in Salesforce each time I need to transform the data in a template.

That at least helps pinpoint the issue to the IF Statement. There must be something wrong with that. Does this syntax by chance work?
