User Logout with when logged into Community and Salesforce Org in Same Borwser.

Question

We have been getting complaints from users who have both our Salesforce org and a commutiy open in different tabs of the same browser. They end up getting lgged out of one or the other, often losing work. I am assuming this is a native security feature, ending one session as a new session begins. I am just curious if there is any way to mitigate this. I looked into the session lock setting for both domain and IP address, however, I am concerned they will interfere with our integrationsa nd API calls.

Switching between your Salesforce org and your communities shouldn't disrupt your workflow. Check the article below:
