Sharing of Report Data

Question

We have OWD set to Private for Activities. Is there a way to allow certain users to see Events? I am the system admin and created a report in which you can see all of the events I want to share with this group of users & shared the folder with them. When I login as them to view the report, they are limited to only their events. How can I grant them access?
