Summary: The Guest User Access Report will help you to adhere to Salesforce best practices and navigate the journey of readiness for the upcoming security changes for public site in Winter ’20, which will impact existing orgs upon enforcement.

What is the Guest User Access Report?

It is an App available on the AppExchange which you can install in your org. This document outlines instructions on how to use the package. Once the package is installed and configured, you can run reports to assess potential risks of your current implementation / configuration and impacts of security updates on the Guest User profile(s). In addition, it offers guided flows on how you can remediate and resolve these risks and impact, and better adhere to Salesforce best practices.

What value and features does the Guest User Access Report offer?

• Includes links to resources to direct you on where to get help for specific topics
• Section that highlights potential impact of security updates to help you answer the question: “How does this affect my org / implementation?”
• Section that highlights what objects and records are being exposed to the Guest User, and how they’re being exposed.
• “Help me secure this” guided flows to aid you in securing objects and records you may not want to expose to Guest Users.
• Section that highlights public group membership for Guest Users, which is a point of remediation.
• Section that highlights Guest User Profile permissions to help you lock those down.
• Section that shows AuraEnabled Apex classes and the Guest User’s profile permissions to those classes.
