What to do, when facing the metadata deployment errors of:

• Page Layout: Invalid field:TASK.SUBJECT in related list:RelatedActivityList
• Page Layout: Invalid field:NAME in related list:RelatedEmailMessagePeopleList
• Permission Set: Unknown user permission: EditEvent
• Permission Set: Unknown user permission: EditTask
• Activity Custom Object: searchResultsFields TASK.SUBJECT not found

I faced these errors for my CI/CD deployment user, which I had changed Profile = Minimum Access - API Only Integrations and User License = Salesforce Integration

I found that the user was missing the System Permission = Access Activities, and when granting this via a permission set, then the errors were resolved. 

I hope others can use this finding in the future, because the errors were not really documented anywhere.

How to resolve deployment of Security Settings metadata throwing error: canUsersGrantLoginAccess

I was trying to figure out what was causing the non-explanatory error on deploying the security settings metadata file. 

The issue surfaced, when I switched the deploying user from having the standard System Admin profile to a custom Minimum Access profile with added permissions on top. 

The solution was to grant the deploying user the system permission of Manage Login Access Policies. Once this permission was granted, then the deploying user was no longer facing the problem.

I am facing deployment error while moving Actions & Buttons from classic page layouts to Lightning page layouts. I am using the Lightning Configuration Converter

Here are the errors- 

In field: TargetRecordType - no RecordType named Task.InMail found

In field: QuickAction - no QuickAction named LCC_NewTask_RT_PointDrive_Presentation_Viewed found

In field: TargetRecordType - no RecordType named Task.PointDrive_Presentation_Created found

In field: TargetRecordType - no RecordType named Task.PointDrive_Presentation_Viewed found

In field: TargetRecordType - no RecordType named Task.Message found.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

I'm trying to deploy a community using change set.The deployment fails with the following error message: "Add a default owner for guest-user created records. The default owner must be an active user in the org and not a guest user.".

I have enabled the settings under community setting in setup as well as have assigned a default record owner under workspace > preference.

Can anyone guide me, how to resolve the issue?

Hi - For Summer '20 Release, getting the following error for deploying Sharing.settings metadata.  Workaround is to set the sfdx-project.json file to "sourceApiVersion": "49.0" instead of 48.0 but this then introduces some additional errors across other metadata.  Any solution to this or has anyone run across this error? 

Deployment Error: 

Error mdapi/settings/Sharing.settings Sharing Property 'deferGroupMembership' not valid in version 48.0

Is there anyone that can assist with a Sightline deployment error?  We can't seem to get around it at all.  It is "The package URL on this build is missing".  We have verified permissions in both source and target instances as this has been the resolution in the past, but that doesn't appear to be the fix this time around.  Thanks in advance for any help!

When deploying the trigger to enable runtime on a rollup in production I get a deployment error due to a test failure:

System.DmlException: Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: REQUIRED_FIELD_MISSING, Required fields are missing: [Launch_Year__c]: [Launch_Year__c] 

Stack Trace: Class.rh2.ParentUtil.UpsertRollupTestRecords: line 204, column 1 Class.RHX_TEST_SNTY_Forecasts_and_Actuals.RHX_Testmethod: line 11, column 1

This class that is failing is generated by RH. I had no problems in sandbox because the tests aren't run there. What's the suggested approach?
