I have two CRM Analytics dashboards in the same app: -
1)Dashboard A has a table of assets, grouped by Asset Name (dataset: DatasetA, field: Name). -
2) Dashboard B is a detail dashboard for one asset. It has a list widget "Select Asset Name" (dataset: DatasetB, field: Name).
Goal: when a user clicks an asset in the table on Dashboard A, Dashboard B should open in a new browser tab with that asset already selected.
Can you please advise how we can achieve this use case?
13 oct, 07:09 Hi @Harshit Sahu,
Thanks for elaborating on the details.
Regarding different tabs vs pages: I don't think it's less clicks for the users to switch between different tabs vs pages.
With your new use case description using pages, this is much easier and can be done easily with "connected data sources" and "widget interactions".
Please follow the steps in the short video attached:
I've created a dashboard with two pages, based on different datasets, in my example opportunity data and opportunity product data (the more detailed information).
In the first step, I'm using widget interactions two switch from page A to page B. Make sure to enable "go back on deselect", so the user will always be back on page A as soon as they deselect the table. As you can see, switching between pages is working, but the selection in the table doesn't have any impact on the detail charts.
Recommendation: make sure to have the table where you are selecting a row on the second page. Otherwise, the "back on deselect" wouldn't work. Make sure, to use the "add to page" feature (small grey buttons at the bottom right) to achieve this - don't copy the table!
Step 2: connecting the two datasets, meaning creating relations between corresponding fields of the two datasets. In my example, I'm using the Opportunity ID, but it would also work with the Opportunity Name. Now the selection in the table filters the charts, which are based on a different dataset than the table.

I'm trying to bring in an image for each row i.e. the "Location Image". For each row, my station image is stored in a rich text field. Has anybody been able to achieve something similar?
6 oct, 16:25 It depends on the amount of images - but you can upload several pictures combined in a zip-file via the image upload screen in CRM Analytics. But then you have to find a way to join the image links to the data, which might require a mapping table.
We are trying to find out who all users visited/viewed specific Account in Prod.
We tried to explore that through Analytics Studio > We connected LightningUriEvent object in data connector but when we run that it fails with below error.
Something went wrong while executing the Sync_LightningUriEvent node: [error category: USER]: MALFORMED_QUERY: ;Id > '0xxxxx000000000' ORDER BY Id ASC LIMIT 1 OFFSET 249999; ^;ERROR at Row:1:Column:72;field 'Id' can not be sorted in a query call [error category: USER] [error code: 213] (02xxxxxx0089ixxxAY_0xxxxxx000PxxxxEA3_300)
Upon researching found that it is a big object and not supported in analytics studio - can you confirm?
If yes, what is way forward? how can we see which all users viewed that Account.
4 oct, 17:12 Hi @Praful Gadge, Have you tried to install Event Monitoring Analytics app
?

Is anyone else in this group using Revenue Insights? We are just implementing it. It's a very cool template - but not very customizable.
11 jun, 06:45 We’re seeing the same experience. Revenue Insights is a strong out‑of‑the‑box template with great prebuilt dashboards and KPIs, but it’s not very flexible for direct customization.
The best approach is to use it as a foundation—keep the standard dashboards and build custom reports/dashboards in CRM Analytics for your specific needs. Most deeper customization happens in the underlying data layer rather than the template itself.
I saw this in the Ohana Slack Group. Is there any truth to this, I certainly hope not?
22 may 2025, 17:01 Salesforce has not and is not considering to set CRM Analytics to End-of-Life.
Yes, there are rumors in the market - they are simply wrong.
We're configuring a connection to our data in Google BigQuery for a client, and have discovered something odd; when we configure with the "Google BigQuery Connector", we're unable to see views as objects. When we use the Google BigQuery Direct Connector" (Live), we're able to see views as objects to be selected.
Is this a known limitation of the "Google BigQuery Connector" vs. the "Direct Connector"? I can't find a reference to it in the documentation, but it's always possible it's something I missed.
13 sept, 13:48 In our case, we didn’t want to depend on what the native connector exposed, so we used Skyvia to move the BigQuery data into a database first and worked from there. Different setup, but it avoided the connector limitation completely. Just sharing my solution, maybe useful for someone - https://skyvia.com/connectors/google-bigquery
Hi,
I would like to know if we can embed a External Dashboard into Salesforce. We have a looker dashboard that sources data from multiple places. How do I expose per account on SFDC or a Wholistic view. Or Should I have recreate all in CRM Analytics?
Thanks In Advance
7 sept, 15:29 I’d probably keep the Looker dashboard if it’s already bringing together data from multiple sources. If the main goal is to give users an account-level view inside Salesforce, I’d first look at whether embedding the existing dashboard can meet that need before rebuilding everything in CRM Analytics.
I’ve found this approach useful in other projects too. For example, with fit-out work, it often makes more sense to work with what’s already in place and improve the parts that need attention rather than starting everything from scratch.
