I have 14 data sources published from Tableau Prep onto Tableau Cloud. I've brought these into Tableau desktop (v2026.2) to use with a Relationship data model. Tableau Desktop is then renaming the logical table as Migrated Data, Migrated Data1. Migrated Data2 etc. When I open a new sheet all I see for the different data sets is the Migrated Data# and not the original names. I've looked everywhere and I can't see anyway of renaming/aliasing these names. They're not very intuitive :-) Is there a way of renaming the logical tables into something more meaningful?

Hi Deepak, thanks for the reply :-)

I think it's Tableau Desktop that is naming the logical table as it's being named and numbered in the order in which I add the data sources. Clicking on the data source dropdowns in the Data Source pane just gives the option of Replace or Delete. The EO20021_BD_DVP... name is correct but the Migrated Data logical table name is what is shown once I go into a new sheet
