My apologies in advance for the muddiness of my request.

My client is utilizing what I believe to be Secure Network Programming (a network beginning with bosnasnp) for files pulled from an external MoveIt site.

Our goal is to use these in Tableau Server, but I've been unable to map this network: the files are only visible through the RUN command.

Consequently, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Desktop have no method of accessing them.

Is there a specific connector type that can be used to reach these files?

Many thanks!

Thank you for you feedback @Yuri Fal: using the path in Desktop did not return the files.

Using the exact same path via the RUN command, however, opened a new directory window showing the files.

I tried making a shortcut within the new directory window and then migrating the shortcut onto my computer: that, surprisingly, worked (even though I could not map the drive).

When I tried using the properties of the shortcut I got this new error:

Unable to connect to the file "[work_item.csv]". Check that the file exists and that you have sufficient access privileges for it.

    Error Code: 38348B38

    Text file is empty

This may be because I have limited access as a consultant, but my colleague is having similar issues. I'll have him try connecting directly and see if he's able to crack it.
