I have a dashboard with a number of different bar charts on it all representing different KPIs (sales, orders, etc). I currently have my discrete date field (Approval Date) in the Columns shelf and my measure in the Rows shelf. I also have Approval Date as a relative date filter that is applied to all the different bar charts.
I'd like to be able to create a parameter that will allow me toggle on or off previous year results. I'd still need to be able to maintain my relative dates filter to allow users to select their own specified time frames, but be able to compare the LY results.

The user should be able to select any timeframe in 2024 and see that timeframe's results from the previous year. For example, if a user selects the filter option of last 3 months of Approval Date, I'd like them to see the same timeframe's results from 2023.
The users designated time period should be any option within the "Relative Date" filter option.
