I'd like to connect Tableau (we're using Tableau Online) directly to Power BI. We have a business unit on an antiquated ERP that uses Power BI and has many useful things put together there, including hierarchies. I'm working a project to consolidate data from multiple ERP's into a consolidated Tableau dashboard.
I did some searching online and found a set of instructions (link below). Is anyone out there that can validate this method works or should work?

Connecting Tableau directly to Power BI isn’t supported, but there are ways to work around it depending on your setup. One approach is to export the data from Tableau's source into a shared data warehouse like BigQuery or Snowflake. Once it’s there, Power BI can easily connect and use that data.
