See attached data file. We would like to calculate customer account retention rates using the standard API between Salesforce and Tableau.
Goal: Calculate whether a customer account renews on time or after the contract end date. Logic: next contract start date needs to be after the prior contract end date (see sample data).
Our team created a Salesforce field (using a formula) to bring in the prior contract renewal date but Tableau Salesforce API doesn't appear to recognize formula fields.
Is there a solution or calculated field we could create in Tableau to identify an account’s renewal date? We are using the standard Salesforce API connection (it's not in a separate database).
