I have a rather large TDSX that I need to modify its connection parameters, basically point it to another database to retrieve the information to support this TDSX (as the other database is being retired). I've been doing an daily incremental refresh for the last year or so, so there is quite a bit of data in it.
When I tried to download it from the Server. I've received this error below:
Anyone know how to remedy this? I was able to re-extract it from the server (connect to it via Tableau Desktop and extract it), which gave me the .tde. However, I don't have the connection credentials anymore (tds part)
Thoughts?
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /t/(mysite)/datasources/(mydatasource***_TDSX).tds
Reason: Error reading from remote server

Evening, I ended up just connecting to the TDSX and exporting all the information from it to a TDE and re-creating the TDSX with an incremental refresh and appending the TDE to the newly created TDSX.
