Here is a description of my background.

I integrated legacy systems using IBM Integration Bus (now called App Connect Enterprise). It does the following:

Connects disparate systems and apps

It can link a wide variety of endpoints—legacy systems, SaaS applications, web services, databases, messaging systems, APIs—using many protocols such as IBM MQ, JMS, HTTP/SOAP/REST, and more. This lets data flow between systems that otherwise don’t natively speak the same language.

I want to plan my salesforce learning. I come from an Integration Developer background. A natural progression for me looks like:

Learn salesforce admin tasks so that I can understand the what and why of the different SF objects.

Platform Development.

PD II

Integration Development.

Does this sound like well thought out path? Just trying to get some wisdom from those who have walked the walked as it were.

Thanks,
