Hello everyone,
I need help. I have an integration procedure that calls a currency API and retrieves the previous day's quotes and updates the Dated Conversion Rate object. This part is running as expected. My problem is with a scheduled flow that executes this process. When I run it in debug mode, the flow creates the records without any errors. The user for the automation process is different from mine. I've checked the necessary permissions, and they're the same as mine. But what happens when the scheduled time arrives? The flow executes, but doesn't create any records. What could be causing this?
Thank you in advance.
Hi @Nayara Sá
,
Schedule-triggered flows do
not run as the same “current user” you see in Debug — they run as the Default Workflow / Automated Process user(depending on setup). If that running user can’t access the object/fields or a called Apex runs with sharing, the scheduled run will silently not create the records even though debug runs succeed. Check the Default Workflow User / Automated Process user, the running user’s access, any invoked Apex/subflows, the flow failure logs, and your date/time criteria (timezone).
Do check the permissions for that user.
Also please check below path -
Setup →
Paused and Failed Flow Interviews— see if the flow is failing at runtime and capturing an error.
Thanks
