sObject type 'Session__c' is not supported

Question

In the query editor I put this SOQL SELECT Id, Name, Session_Date__c, Level__c FROM Session__c I got this error sObject type 'Session__c' is not supported.

It works when I uncheck the 'Use Tooling API' Checkbox in Query Editor. The 'Use Tooling API' checkbox is just after 'Execute' button.

Do you have custom object with the API name session in your org? Check under Setup->Create->Object and give the proper API name of the object in the query editor
