a detail page gets frozen after showtoast event or alert messages.

Question

I am converting javascript buttons using aura component.

I noticed that when my aura component shows toast event or alert messages the page where it was on gets frozen. I have to use window reload to unfreeze it which I prefer to avoid if possible.

Please, help me understand why it is happening and how to avoid it?

I would suggest you to use lightning inspector to troubleshoot the lightning component using debugger to fix the code.
