I'm pretty surprised I couldn't find any example formulas for Speed to Lead, but here I am!
We are looking to track the time it takes our Sales Reps to respond to Inbound Leads. Does anyone have advice for creating this formula without the use of an external integration?
Thank you and any assistance is appreciated.
Hey @Cal Parker,
Yes! You can track Speed to Lead without an external integration by comparing the lead creation time with the first response time from a sales rep using the formula First Response Time minus Lead Created Time. Most CRMs can calculate this through a formula field or workflow that stamps the first activity timestamp, then reports the difference in minutes or hours. For example, if a lead is created at 10:00 AM and the first response happens at 10:18 AM, your speed to lead is 18 minutes. To make this more reliable at scale, many teams also use lead routing tools like LeadAngel, LeanData...to assign inbound leads instantly, reduce handoff delays, and ensure response tracking starts as soon as the right rep receives the lead
