The CRM Analytics track is a good target for your background, but it should definitely not be the next move. The step will be too high, and might discourage you.

My recommendation would be to gain confidence by passing the new "Salesforce Associate": https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/credentials/associate

Then to reinforce your basics and the foundations by passing "Platform App Builder": https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/credentials/platformappbuilder 

It is not about development, it is about knowing the platform to build app and automations, and also understanding the limitations of standard point-and-click approach.

Then, with those 3 solid foundations "Admin" + "Associate" + "App Builder", my recommendation would be to leverage your industry background by getting certified on the Non-profit track: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/credentials/nonprofitcloudconsultant 

At that stage, you will have a very good view and understanding of the platform.

You can so focus on the Data Anaylsis part.

But prior to jump on CRM Analytics (it might be too early again), I would recommend to pass the Reports & Dashboards Superbadge: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/superbadges/superbadge-lex-rd

Now you can start the focus on the advanced solution for data analysis which is CRM Analytics (because you will deeply understand the platform and the standard reports/dashboards features).
