Howdy everyone!
I can't seem to find a great answer to this but is there a way to prevent Data Exports from reports if either the record count exceeds a certain number or the file size is over a certain size? I still want my users to be able to export reports, just not unusually large files without permission.
I don't think Event Monitoring or Shield are what I am looking for . I want to prevent it from happening, not just know after it has happened.

you want event monitoring. that will allow you to set criteria and block it or allow and report on it.
for us we don't allow more than 200 emails or phone numbers to be exported by nonadmins to prevent data theft.
