Hi folks, I need to integrate Service Cloud to SharePoint via Azure. Is the Files Connect product recommended for writing files from Salesforce into SharePoint at scale? The expected volume is thousands of files daily - PDF's, spreadsheets, pictures (but no videos).

If you want a bi-directional sync then the ootb stuff won't help really.
As long as SP is the source of truth you can get away with the ootb integration that SF offers with files connect, but bear in mind its one-directional.
With that said, let me know if you want a bi-directional sync that works at scale as we used to do these in a previous role for many global clients with on-prem / online SP.
