Retirement of the foundationConnect .NET Portal
As you may be aware from our Dreamforce and TAG User Group Meetings held recently, Salesforce is retiring the foundationConnect .NET portals to provide a more secure experience for grantees and grant reviewers and to focus our ongoing development efforts on the foundationConnect Communities Portal. The retirement date has been set for October 31, 2020.
If you are an organization that uses the foundationConnect .NET Portal, we encourage you to migrate to the Communities version of the foundationConnect Grantee and Review portals before the retirement date. After October 31, 2020, the .NET portal will no longer be available and all links to portals hosted on .NET will throw an error when activated.
You can find more information in our Knowledge Article here: https://powerofus.force.com/s/article/fC-NET-Retirement-FAQs.
We will also be hosting a .NET foundationConnect customer webinar to share more information about timelines, what you can expect, migration resources and also hear from a customer who recently migrated from .NET to Communities. If you are interested in attending, please join our webinar on February 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. PST.
@Dana Wellhausen We are not on .net., only communities.. 🙂 But my recollection from DF was that there was no date announcement but they would be in touch when it was decided. If any .net folks have questions about communities we are happy to be a resource.
