I have a Process that sends an Email Alert. The alert's From Email Address is set to "Current User's Email Address". I created the process. When the alert fires and the email arrives in an inbox (I actually send it to myself as well as others so I can see it in my gmail inbox), the text name on the From line is my name, but the email address next to it is not my user account's email address.
Instead, it is an email address that we set up as routing information for Email-To-Case. We do not want this email address to be in the From line for Email Alerts.
As far as I can remember, I have not used that mystery email address anywhere else except in Email-To-Case.
Any thoughts on how this "short-circuit" might have happened? Some setting somewhere I am not thinking of?
