I'm looking for advice for the following situation: Jon Doe, a donor, gives a donation in the form of a check from his business "Doe Donuts". I want to enter the donation in the SF. Jon Doe is the owner of Doe Donuts. In the SF, "Doe Donuts" is Jon's Primary Organizational Affiliation.
Last month, Jon gave a donation in the form of a check from "Jon & Suzy Doe", which has been entered in the contact "Jon Doe" as part of the Household Account "Doe (Jon & Suzy) Family".
My question is this: if I now enter Jon's donation in "Doe Donuts", I won't see this donation as part of the Doe Family Household rollup. When in actuality, for all practical purposes (aside from putting the name "Doe Donuts" on their receipt), this donation is from our donor Jon Doe and we want to know that and see that on his record.
How do you handle this situation (which is very common)?

My coworker had an interesting solution. What do you think of adding Doe Donuts as a (person) contact on Jon Doe's HH Account? That way, the donations from the business would be clear, yet they would all roll up on the HH account?
