Hello Salesforce pros We have created HTML email signature we placed into our user settings.
However, I noticed that when we edit an email from Salesforce that email signature will have 2 break lines after each sentence automatically. This only happens with the email signature. So there are two of those between each sentence in the received email.

However, if I create a template from the email signature HTML, the result is correct, there is no additional breaks between the sentences. I read that the email editor in Salesforce will apply the default browser settings in regards to
etc. However, I'm not clear what is going on with those extra break lines. Any clue?

TL;DR: Do not use break (<br>) tags in conjunction with carriage returns in your Email Signature (in My Email Settings). Use only carriage returns, or break (<br>) tags without carriage returns. Paragraph (<p>) tags can also introduce unintended line breaks.
