Hi all,

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I have not found a definitive answer to my situation yet.

I have a journey which is triggered when a particular object (Order) is created where the shipping address meets specific criteria. The first step of this journey is to create a new Case with accompanying detail and assign to the appropriate person/queue - I'm fairly happy that I have that first step setup correctly, but I am struggling to achieve what I want from that point on.

What I would like to happen next is for a selected email to be sent to the Contact associated to the Order when that Case (we just created in step one) has been updated to status 'Closed'.

I can sort of achieve this by using a Wait by Duration e.g. 1 day followed by a Decision Split which is checking that the Case status = 'Closed', which is fine if the Case did get closed within 1 day, but then I would need several iterations of waiting and checking with another Decision Split (as many times that I could be confident any case should be closed by now) - but this does not feel very clean.

Is there a way to achieve what I am describing within a single journey? It's effectively a 'Wait by Attribute' except rather than relying on an attribute of type 'Date', I want it to wait until the Case Status is 'Closed'.

Hope that makes sense. Do please let me know if I can offer any additional clarity. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    Thanks Shibu.

What you have described was going to be my fallback option, but I had hoped there was a clean way of doing it all in one journey. Appreciate your insight.
