am stumped on this situation im currently facing for a client using Professional Edition.
have created a custom picklist field (Member Tier) in Contract object to indicate which tier the customer is in (tier A or B or C).
i want the custom picklist field in Account (Member Tier) to update itself automatically based on the latest Member Tier in contract. is there a way to do it using Process Builder or formula?

What do you mean by Latest Member Tier? Is it a recently modified record?
If you are trying to update the Account based on the latest child record then its not possible with PB in PE.
Account and contracts are related to Lookup relationship and in this case, you can not use some workaround like creating the Rollup summary field on the account to get the latest child.
