How do I recover lost profile info from my Hub profile

Question

As a support person, I have multiple logins and have used many of them to post or answer questions.  Today I received a pop-up when trying to start a trailhead that suggested I merge my user accounts.  It indicated all data (including likes, followers, bookmarks, followed topics and more) would be merged from the accounts.  So I did the merge.  Now I've lost all my data and history and am starting over from scratch.  I could really use that lost data. What in the world happened?  Is there a way to recover anything?  Not sure where to post this, so I'm doing it here.

Hi Carl,   Try logging in to your account through a different mean(ie if you used google to log in, try logging in with the salesforce log in instead)  if none of those options work for you, you can always reach out to support and they'll try to help out.
