As per the instructions at the link below, I have downloaded the "Salesforce Communities Management (for Communities with Chatter)," and have activated the "Block posts or comments containing banned keywords" Moderation rule. I have included the appropriate customer community profiles in the filter criteria, but whenever I test the profanity blocker in direct messages between test users, the message goes through without error.
How do I assure that Direct Messages containing text from the "Banned Keywords" list are not sent between users?

Hi Jamil,
I read through the document for the mentioned app and think that you can only report or act upon flagged direct messages through this. Not block it.
Have you considered writing a trigger on chatter for this job. Please read this doc and see if it helps you
