In Salesforce Classic, when I go to a Contact record > Activity History > Send an Email, the Related To field defaults to Account. 

 

However, when I view the same Contact record in Lightning Experience and go to Activity > Email tab, the Related To field defaults to a custom object. 

 

Is there a setting that controls what the Related To field defaults to for both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience that I might have missed? Thank you!

    Thanks! Not sure why but I traced it to an app (Dupe Eliminator App) we installed which somehow defaults it to a custom object only in Lightning Experience.
