Related Contacts Not Showing

I have build a report that has a crossfilter of accounts with no contacts, however, if the contact is tied to another account as it's main relationship it still shows up in the report that it doesn't have a contact (even if it shows up under the account as a related contact). How do I fix my report? Thanks for the help!

    first, you need to create a new report type, either account with acccount conact role or account with account contact relationship (depends which feature you are using)

     

    Than you would filter on accounts without contacts AND accounts with contact role/contact relationship
