I am working with mutiple clients and use a different SF instance for each.
I would liketo transfer my custom settings/fields I create for one client to others (inorder to eliminate spending time/efforts on same for each client).
Would highly appreciate if anyone could suggest what is the simplest/fastest way of doing that.

In addition to workbench you can use change set, eclipse. Eclipse is the best tool for deploying to other instance.
